5-speed rod-change transmission with straight-cut close-ratio gears and standard diff. Has a 5th gear overdrive with a ratio of 0.865:1 which with the 3.44 final rive ratio gives the equivalent of 2.98. These straight cut gears are noisier than standard gears, but considerably stronger, and much quieter than the old ST kit, as they are cut to modern-day profiles. Includes modified reverse lockout plate and shift linkage bias.
