Rocker shaft for all classic Mini A-series and A+ engines. On early engines with the oil feed on the #1 pedestal you may need to drill this hole in the shaft. Please check before assembly. Ref: 12A1950.
Rocker alignment shims AEG0168 and AEG0169 are available to centralize the rocker on the valve.
Replacing a worn rocker shaft can cure noisy valves. To check for wear, inspect the underside of the shaft. This can usually be done by backing off the adjuster screw until it is free of the pushrod then sliding the rocker to the side. (Don't forget to adjust the valves when you are done.)
