    Genuine Timken tapered roller rear wheel bearing, originally upgraded for the MPi (multi-point injection) classic Mini, but suitable for any 1959-2000 classic Mini. Actual origin of manufacture and/or packaging may vary according to supplier.

    The ball bearings originally fitted to the rear of early standard Minis were replaced during car production many years ago with the same taper roller bearings as used on the Mini Cooper S. Additionally, the separate spacer once fitted has now been designed into the bearing inner race, so a separate one is no longer used. This part number is always genuine Timken, with seal and cotter key included. This kit also includes the o-ring introduced on MPi Minis in the late 1990s to provide extra water intrusion protection. It is installed first on the stub axle.

    Other suppliers' kits that say "taper roller" may not be by Timken, the original manufacturer, so inquire when comparing prices. Use one kit per side.
