A couple of different part numbers have been used for the rear backing plates, but the difference is only in the holes for mounting the rear wheel cylinders. Depending on which wheel cylinder you are installing, you may have to drill a new hole in the backplate for the dowel pin on the wheel cylinder. Replaces part number 17H8076. Left-hand side. Note the small inspection hole in the back plate at 2 o'clock position. The rubber plug to fill this is AEU1541A, available separately. Older backplates did not have this hole or need this plug.
