The Metro was a larger cousin to the classic Mini, and some components off of that car have been put on Minis by car owners (never at the factory). This is the GSJ268 ball joint as used on early Metro swivel hubs, which will fit the standard-sized tapered hole in the (classic) Mini suspension arms.
