This heavy-duty differential is recommended for any high-performance road-driven classic Mini or Mini Cooper. A standard (classic) Mini differential has only one pin and one pair of spider gears. This improved diff has a hard steel case and two pins with four spider gears to handle increased power without wearing or failing prematurely. Can be used with yoke, pot joint or Hardy-Spicer output shafts, which must be fitted to the unit. We also recommend the use of AHU1856-RHP premium diff bearings when fitting this upgraded diff.
No modification of the gearbox case should be necessary to install this unit.
