The gearshift lever pivot ball bushing and lower ball bushing in early model remote shifters wear out and cause vibration in the shift lever. These improved parts replace original parts 22A392 and 22G158 and are made of quality mechanical grade Teflon. As such, it has the good characteristics of being non-corrosive, impervious to grease and oil, durable and self-lubricating unlike any other material. This Seven Enterprises exclusive kit fits only the very early models, from 1961 through 1964, although some later "down-under" cars also used this setup.
