This set of main cap studs and nuts is for both pre-A+ and A+ series 1300 block, which have no removable tappet covers. These studs are stronger than the original bolts by a large factor, and are recommended for performance or racing engines. Complete with studs, washers, nuts, lube and instructions.
Note there are some fitting challenges with these studs. Normally, we will remove .100” from the fastener face of the main caps. Then after checking how much stud thread is exposed after fitting the washer and nut, remove any excess thread length from the stud. Even after doing this, some relieving of the transmission casing may be required for clearance.
