Greetings Mini Racers!
2014 is the 55th anniversary of the Mini, and to celebrate this, a very special race weekend will be held at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, June 27-29, 2014.
To recap from our previous postings via social media and other outlets: this race will be presented by Seven Enterprises and sanctioned by the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA). The event will feature a full weekend of SVRA vintage racing, plus the featured Canadian American Mini Challenge on Sunday.
2014 will be the 32nd consecutive time that SVRA will visit the historic 2.4 mile Mid Ohio Circuit. This track has played host to every major amateur and amateur race series in the U.S. and is a perennial favorite with competitors and spectators. Currently over 90 Minis from the United States, Canada, Mexico and England have filed preliminary entries for this event and will make this ever popular event even better. On Saturday night, Mid-Ohio and SVRA will again host a picnic barbecue at the Honda Pavilion followed by a live band and dancing well into the evening.

There are special lodging rates for participants and spectators, at either the Comfort Inn/Splash Harbour, or travel trailer rentals for those who prefer to stay at the track and avoid driving back and forth to the hotel.
