If you want to install flange- type differential output shafts, such as used with Hardy-Spicer drive shaft couplings or with a Limited Slip Differential (LSD) in a rod change gearbox, the stock rod change side covers are too small for the flange type output shafts. This one is designed for the right-hand (RH) side, where it covers the detent spring, but will also fit the left-hand (LH) side. Can be fitted to earlier transmissions, too, as the extra ear will not interfere. Sold each.
We also stock 22G0419-USED diff side cover, which can be used on the left-hand side.
