On a well-built classic Mini engine, it is not uncommon to have too much oil pressure. We use this adjustable relief valve to set oil pressure at 80 pounds. Adjustment is made by simply turning a knob. Made of stainless steel and includes spring.
Assemble with a little thread sealer to reduce the tendency to weep oil.
Note: We have fitted many of these in our shop; it features a nice integral textured knob on the large-diameter adjustment plunger, not a āgrille buttonā glued on a small shaft. The jam nut prevents movement from engine vibration. A superior product!
