Mini Meet West 2007

July 10-12
Hood River, Oregon

The Columbia River Gorge was formed 20,000 years ago when an estimated 20 million cubic miles of water was suddenly released from an ice dam that gave way in Missoula, Montana. Today, we witness the second most important event to happen in this area: the gathering of over 120 Minis and neo-Minis for Mini Meet West 2007.

The host hotel is Hood River Inn. Seven Enterprises hard at work supplying the needs of Mini Meeters. A beautiful setting for the Concours. It's time to show off! Scott Miller's collection of rallye memorabilia looks great on his Mini; sadly this photo is so tiny you can't see any of it... Trust me, tho, it's great... Minis on the road to Stonehenge for the group photo. This Mini was not towed from Florida, it towed from Florida. A Moke putting the ''fun'' back in Funkana. The James Bond 007-themed Funkana involved driving while carrying a martini. Second-generation Mini Meeters. The slot car racing, hosted by Alan Smith, went on for days before a champion was crowned. Beautiful scenery was a feature of the Rallye. A closer view of Mt. Hood. On the drive home, an unknown highway in Oregon.
